A man has been charged after allegedly slamming his car into a police station and threatening officers with a knife.The Honda sedan was driven into the automated doors of the station on Wakefield Street, just before 1:30am, before reversing into a patrol car which had moved to block its exit.The 38-year-old Kilkenny man, who was known to police, was promptly arrested at the scene.
